PEI Latest Draw — Canada Offers New ITAs.
Prince Edward Island (PEI) — PEI offers a total of 140 invitations to immigration candidates to apply for Canada Permanent Residence Visa through its Provincial Nomination Program. This draw was held on May 16th, 2019 for Labour Impact, Business Impact, and Express Entry candidates.
The PEI Provincial Nomination Program permits to select the fixed number of candidates, and for the economic immigration, the candidate must match the requirements of the labor market in the province.
From a total of 104 ITAs 90 ITAS were offered to individuals who had registered an Expression of Interest — EOI with the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nomination Program. As quoted by the CIC News, this is in the category Express Entry or diverse streams of its category Labour Impact.
Immigration aspirants who register the Expression of Interest are offered a score out of 100 depending on multiple factors like proficiency in English or French, Education, Age, and Skilled work experience.
Job offer from Prince Edward Island is not required; however, preference is given to candidates who are residing and working in the province said PEI PNP. Candidates with the highest score are eligible and offered an invitation to apply. This draw is for Canada PR Visa through the Provincial Nomination Program through frequently held draws in the Expression of Interest EOI pool of Prince Edward Island Provincial Nomination Program. Eligible candidates who are nominated are offered 600 extra CRS points which assure an Invitation to Apply (ITAs) for Canada Immigration Visa in the Express Entry Draws.
PEI PNP did not specify the number of ITAs offered to Express Entry candidates out of 90 through Labour Impact stream and it also not revealed the minimum score required to get an ITA in the May 16th draw. In labor Impact Category, there are three streams — Critical worker, International Graduate, and Skilled Worker. The candidate who received an ITA with the lowest score through work permit stream Business Impact was 107.
