Canada Express Entry Profile Points Calculation 2019
The calculation of points for Canada express entry candidates is based on the profile submitted by them in the express entry pool.
Active Immigrants who apply for Canadian immigration are given CRS points as per their profile of Canada Express entry. There are four main Sections in the Comprehensive Ranking Score:
• Factors for spouse or common-law partner
• Factors for Human capital
• Factors for Skill Transferability
• Additional factors points
All the four factors have diverse credentials that add up resulting in final scores to your profile.
Factors for Spouse and Human Capital
The first two factors of the Express entry Comprehensive Ranking System points are very closely related to each other. The points that can be claimed for both the sections is 500 which is the maximum number.
If you are single you can claim a maximum of 500 points for Human Capital factors and It is also possible so if your spouse is not accompanying you in Canada Migration.
You can also claim a maximum of 460 points for Human capital factors if you are being accompanied by your partner or by your spouse. A maximum of 40 points can be claimed for the credentials of your partner or spouse.
In Human Capital factors the factors like Education, Language, Age and Canadian experience are included.
Skilled workers in their early careers are prioritized for their express entry profile, hence points starts decreasing slightly for every passing year after 29 years of age, as quoted by Canadian Government.
Factors for Skill Transferability
The Candidates can score a maximum of 100 points in their CRS score through this section for their Canada express entry profile.
Canadian government can combine multiple diverse credentials in many ways, the key to understand this section of CRS is divided into three main factors like
• Credentials for Education
• Credentials for overseas work experience
• Canadian qualification certificate
Each of the above factors can add up to 50 points when combined either with:
• Work experience in Canada or
• High proficiency in language
In this section of factors for skills transferability even if you are eligible for all its divisions you can get only a maximum of 100 points.
Additional factors points section
In this additional factors point section a candidate can score a maximum of 600 points for the Express entry profile. As English and French are the official Canadian Languages. You need to provide test results if you are proficient in these languages which will increase your CRS points. A maximum of 200 points are awarded for arranged employment and 600 points for nomination from a province.
